ITALY, Rome area - Fairy-tale 14th-century castle

Within easy driving distance from Rome, the "Eternal city",
in dominating position overlooking the valleys underneath,
stands this superb castle of which the first reference was
made in reports dating back to the year 1350.
The main building floor-space area totals 2,250m2 (ground
floor+first floor+second floor); in addition to that the ancient
keep (donjon) has a surface of approx.1,000m2.
The interior underwent complete renovation at the
beginning of the 90‘s of the Twentieth century.
The grounds of this masterpiece of medieval history and

heritage of ancient architecture include a 1,300 square-metre
courtyard and a park (6,300m2) fenced by a tall stone wall,
lined with cypress- and fir trees and provided with a tennis
court and a swimming-pool. In addition to that current
owners have recently purchased further 12,000m2 of land.
Studies have been conducted to explore the feasibility of the
reconversion of the object into a 5-star hospitality facility or
into an apartment complex with the time-share scheme
(fractional could be an alternative).
